Fibonacci-run graphs I: Basic properties

چکیده

Among the classical models for interconnection networks are hypercubes and Fibonacci cubes. cubes induced subgraphs of obtained by restricting vertex set to those binary strings which do not contain consecutive 1s, counted numbers. Another numbers with a restriction on runlengths. Induced hypercube latter as vertices define Fibonacci-run graphs. They have same number cubes, but fewer edges different graph theoretical properties. We obtain properties graphs including edges, analogue fundamental recursion, average degree vertex, Hamiltonicity, special sequences, they contain. A detailed study sequences is interesting in its own right reported companion paper.

Energy of Graphs, Matroids and Fibonacci Numbers

The energy E(G) of a graph G is the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of G. In this article we consider the problem whether generalized Fibonacci constants $varphi_n$ $(ngeq 2)$ can be the energy of graphs. We show that $varphi_n$ cannot be the energy of graphs. Also we prove that all natural powers of $varphi_{2n}$ cannot be the energy of a matroid.

Decision algorithms for Fibonacci-automatic Words, I: Basic results

We implement a decision procedure for answering questions about a class of infinite words that might be called (for lack of a better name) “Fibonacci-automatic”. This class includes, for example, the famous Fibonacci word f = 01001010 · · · , the fixed point of the morphism 0 → 01 and 1 → 0. We then recover many results about the Fibonacci word from the literature (and improve some of them), su...

Quantum Graphs I. Some Basic Structures

We use the name “quantum graph” for a graph considered as a one-dimensional singular variety and equipped with a self-adjoint differential (in some cases pseudo-differential) operator (“Hamiltonian”). There are manifold reasons for studying quantum graphs. They naturally arise as simplified (due to reduced dimension) models in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering (nanotechnology), w...

Graphs, partitions and Fibonacci numbers

The Fibonacci number of a graph is the number of independent vertex subsets. In this paper, we investigate trees with large Fibonacci number. In particular, we show that all trees with n edges and Fibonacci number > 2n−1 + 5 have diameter ≤ 4 and determine the order of these trees with respect to their Fibonacci numbers. Furthermore, it is shown that the average Fibonacci number of a star-like ...

Weakly Implicative (Fuzzy) Logics I: Basic Properties

This paper presents two classes of propositional logics (understood as a consequence relation). First we generalize the well-known class of implicative logics of Rasiowa and introduce the class of weakly implicative logics. This class is broad enough to contain many “usual” logics, yet easily manageable with nice logical properties. Then we introduce its subclass— the class of weakly implicativ...
